HP Selected to Modernize Guam's Court Case Management System

HP Enterprise Services today announced it has been awarded a contract by the Judiciary of Guam to modernize its court case management system and improve access to the courts via the internet.

Under the terms of the contract, HP will act as a systems integrator for the judiciary's court case management solution. HP will help provide 24/7 public access to court information and improve system efficiency, as well as streamline reporting, administration and performance management. The solution also will help the government address the increased demand on judicial services due to Guam's expected 25 percent population growth over the next four years.

"This is a very exciting time for Guam as we work alongside private industry to accommodate the current and impending population growth of our island by revamping our infrastructure and modernizing citizen services," said Supreme Court of Guam Chief Justice F. Philip Carbullido. "With this system upgrade we are now better equipped to deliver on our mission of providing accessible judiciary services to the citizens of Guam."

With the new integrated court case management system, citizens will be able to file court documents, pay fees and check the status of cases online. Jurors will benefit from the new system's jury management features, which allow jurors to communicate with the courts via email and online.
